God we need You

My intent today had been to write an update blog, as well as talk about what the Lord has been teaching. (This will come soon:) However, over the last hour or so, the Lord has just been breaking my heart for our world. And in that has been leading me in an heart posture of prayer, that I want to invite you into. So, instead of my original plan, I just want to pray, and encourage you to pray as well. Would His bride come together, come to Him, and pray. 

God,

I don’t have the perfect words to pray, in fact I am finding myself at a loss of words. But what I do know is that You see your people. You see the world, and God I cry on behalf of mankind that we need you! God we need you. We need you, we need you, we need you. God would the spirit of hatred, and just the demonic presence that has been ruling Your lands, be realized and repented of. Lord, would we as mankind no longer give them any power over us, because it is YOU who holds the victory. God, You are the answer we are searching for. You are the peace we desperately need. You are the love that we need to live in, instead of the hatred that is produced. Your creation, us, is meant to live in love! God, I pray that you would open the eyes and hearts of the world back to you. As you remember your people, would they, would we, remember you. Would your church, your bride, come together again and pray against the evil of this world with you. Would we intercede behind you Jesus. God would you give us the words to pray. God I don’t have the logical the answers, but I know you are still in control. God as you say in Ephesians 6, this battle is not against flesh and blood. Would that become real to your church, and would we come together, unified, for our brothers and sisters all across the world. Would there be so many Saul to Paul moments for those who are lost, that we cannot even keep count. Would love begin to flood the earth. God, we need you to fight for us. Lord teach us how to let you fight for us. Lord, teach us how to be unified in prayer. God we need you. We just need you. Every government and leader. Every mother and father. Every soldier and worker. Every adult and child. We all need you. God we need you in every way of the word. Lord, I’m looking at Nehemiah 1 right now and just pray again that we would return to you. All of the world God. Every tribe, nation, and tongue. God when it looks like violence and hatred has the upper hand, would we look again to the cross and remember where the true victory is. Would we remember what true love is. Would we remember that the real battle is won, and would we act out of that. Would we act out of love. Would our prayers overflow the streets of the earth. Would we stand firm in your love and in your light. God wake us, wake me, up to pray through the night. God, your people need you. We need you God. You are victorious. You are good. Hear your daughter Lord, hear your daughter’s prayer, I believe that you do. God we need you. The world needs you. Would we remember our need for you. Would your people come back to you. Every one of them.

“I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, I have overcome the world.” John 16:33

“For every child of God defeats this evil world, and we achieve this victory through faith. And who can win this battle against the world? Only those who believe that Jesus is the Son of God.” 1st John 5:4-5

My heart behind posting this is truly Ephesians 6, prayer, and to remember who holds the victory. The world tries to convince us otherwise, but we must stand firm in our faith by His strength. We are called to intercede with Jesus. He is already there praying, would we join Him! We would go to the throne. Would we pray on our armor daily(Ephesians 6:13-18). Would we go to Him. Would we fight in prayer against the true evil powers of the world (Ephesians 6). But would we also remember He is the light of the world, and because of that we also shine His light. So when the world is trying to block out the light, would we press more to shine His light. I want to encourage each believer too, to stand firm. God is still on the throne. He is still the light in the darkness. Look to Him.

“A final word: be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil ruler and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.” Ephesians 6:10-12
